Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. The aim of Ash Wednesday is threefold: to meditate on our mortality, sinfulness, and need of a savior, to renew our commitment to daily repentance, both in the Lenten season and in all of life, and to remember with confidence and gratitude that Christ has conquered death and sin. We will gather on Ash Wednesday for singing, prayer, and reflection. Childcare will be provided.

Wednesdays in Lent
7-7:40pm
Throughout Lent, Scarlet City Church will offer weekly gatherings for prayer and reflection. Vespers is Latin for “evening” and will be a helpful time for us to continue to press into our need and desire for God to intervene in our lives, city, and world. Vespers gatherings will be on Wednesday evenings from March 4 – April 1 for reflection and contemplation through prayer and music.
