Discipleship

Discipleship, in its simplest form, is about teaching someone what you know. And a disciple is a follower. That’s why we often refer to those with faith in the person and work of Jesus as “Christ-followers.” Jesus began his ministry by calling disciples when he said, “Come follow me.” Then he passed the ministry onto the Church when he said, “go and make disciples” before he ascended into heaven. We believe that discipleship relationships are a central part of the Christian faith, and we encourage everyone to seek out relationships where they can be a disciple and make disciples.
